At the last EHX Expo in Long Beach, we exhibited our design for our "Retract Lift", that has, until recently, been only built for special order. We are very proud of this concept and think it is possibly one of the coolest concepts available. We are talking about our retracting panel lift. This lift allows you to retract & raise a panel up and behind an upper panel to expose your whole entertainment equipment array. There are no visible tracks or sliding grooves. The panel just retracts back a few inches and hoists itself up and completely disappears. We have used this concept over fireplace mantles and it is most unique. Imagine a false panel with even your family portrait attached, smoothly retract and disappear overhead, exposing a wide screen TV and speakers for your evening entertainment.
